I had gastric bypass surgery 10 years ago and gained 40 since the surgery. Now that 40 pounds has grown into 55 pounds. My life doesnt afford me the luxury of exercising regulary. My energy level is in the toilet along with my motivation. I've started having joint problems because of the weight gain. I have lost a few pounds following the recommended meal plan but feel as if there could be something more that I could be doing to increase my weight loss but don't know what..
How did I let myself become one hundred pounds over weight!! I am paying the price now.
My doctor says I have NASH. It is weight related Hepatitis of the Liver or also called a Fatty Liver. My Liver enzymes are high. If I don't loose the weight, I will end up with permanent liver damage-non alcohol cirrhosis of the liver. I will be 50 years old this year. I have osteoarthritis everywhere. I never thought turning 50 would be so much fun. If I want to live long & prosper, I got to do the …work. I have joined a neighborhood gym that is open 24 hrs. So there isn't any excuse for me not to exercise. I have access to fresh vegetables for free from friends & family's gardens & are giving it away. I have access to a dietitian from work. With internet access to the 50 lb. Million Pound Challenge & all the other information readily available at my finger tips, there really isn't any reason why I shouldn't succeed. I just need to take baby steps. As the old saying goes, " Rome wasn't built in a day", just meal by meal.More
I started 50 million on January 15th at 190 pounds. I am now 135 pounds. I am feeling good and looking great. One problem.. Now since I lost the weight, i really don't seem to be showing any muscles. my workout plan has been kick boxing cardio and bag with lots of strength training and weights also boxing. I have never really had toned figure but I really thought that with all the working out that Ive been doing I would of gained more muscle and more toned. Any one have any advice on the next steps for me?
Has anyone tried Walk at Home with Leslie Sansone? I really enjoy walking but it is not always convenient for me to get out. These dvd's are great! You can walk anywhere from 1 to 5 miles...ALL IN THE PRIVACY OF YOUR OWN HOME!!!. I was skeptical at first because I just didn't see how walking in a small amount of space would help. Now, when I exercise, these dvd's are my first choice. You have to try it.
In college I was a size 0 to a 2. After I graduated I gained about 40 pounds and became depressed. I tried to get back to my weight but could not.
