93.3 WMMR - Philadelphia

I built this Widget so that I could hear Preston & Steve on the WMMR morning show without having the stream run in an IE window.

This Widget is based on the original code provided by John Hinds, and takes much of the structure of the wonderful radio Widget adapted by Norberto Alvarez Sueiraz. I have no interest in taking credit for their great work! WMMR Graphics are from WMMR's official website. http://www.wmmr.com

Please note: This Widget is Windows Media Stream-based; should the broadcaster change their format, the Widget will cease to function correctly.

Thank you so much for this excellent widget! I am unable to stream from work but with this widget I am able to listen to my favorite Philly radio station all the way from Switzerland!

Just a brief warning as of 6/6/06... WMMR appears to be working on how the station streams... I suspect they will continue to use Windows Media Streaming, but they may be altering the host site. I will update the widget when the new stream is ready.

Just downloaded this widget this morning and it is awesome!!! Grew up listening to WMMR for the last 20 some years and now I'm in State College :-/
