A simple POP3 email checker, this Widget will check a single POP3 mailbox and show new and old message counts. Double clicking will run your selected email program and clear the "New" count. Small, simple, does the job.

Requires Yahoo Widget Engine 3.1 or later.

The tip about renaming a copy of the widget to check a different account solves 1 issue. Configurable size and colours would fix the other two and would get this 4 stars. That said, its one of only two widgets I use every day. Thanks!

It works with mine.

- Ensure you've ticked the option in GMail to allow you to get your e-mail via pop3.
- The settings you need are in a previous comment.

Arghh. The same 2 stars mark twice! A tad unfair, maybe? :-)

Anyway, has anyone else seen the problem with it staying in the foreground all the time? It works fine on mine so not sure how to go about fixing it.
