abbeymail
A simple POP3 email checker, this Widget will check a single POP3 mailbox and show new and old message counts. Double clicking will run your selected email program and clear the "New" count. Small, simple, does the job.

JamoI agree - needs to be more customizable. I like the way it works with the change of colour and sound only, but i don't need the "Old" section. In fact, i think it would look great with just a picture and a number to show new messages.
Anyway, i'm using it and it works for now. Thanks.

I like it....
BrittneyMI like the simple abbymail but I would like to change the color of it from black to another color also have things pop all over the screen when you get new mail even right in the middle of something....people would pay more attention to it that way.

Abbeymail is my favorite email checker because it stays signed in even with a reboot. It is overly sensitive because it alerts to sent mail as well as new received mail. Abbeymail also reports “new” mail you have read until you allow Abbeymail to open your email account. A "clear" feature would solve both problems. All facts considered Abbeymail clearly does the job.
