I agree with M.D. Prins that the default should be lower case. Also: editing your own saveable custom character set with any character from the current clipboard would be super.

One thing though that is not useful at the moment - at least if you use the Dutch (Nederlands) symbols - is that per default capital/uppercase characters are displayed, while lowercase is what you want in 95% of all cases... Actually, you hardly ever need accents on capitals, because in common written language you should only use them on lowercase letters. So please, make the default lowercase! Thanks a lot in advance.
