Addiction Recovery

by Bucky Flowers

Use this Widget to help work through any 12-Step program. It displays the current step you are working on as a constant reminder right on your desktop. Also, keep track of how many days, weeks, or years you've been sober with the "count-up" clock. This Widget is really customizable, with original and LDS versions of the 12 Steps. Let me know how I can improve this Widget, and please enjoy!!!

Thinker- There are more addictions out there other than just smoking, drinking, and doing drugs. Take for example your addictions... pride, arrogance, negativity, etc. These things that you do are also a choice (with their own set of consequences). Instead of persisting in our addictions and making the same choice over and over again, we made a CHOICE get help. Any human being with any kindness in their heart would applaud us for doing that, even if they didn't agree with the method. So Thin More

I can't stand the quote "admit that you, of yourself, are powerless"!!!! WOW! - What a religious cult. So, without a higher power you are an addict? What Athiests can't be sober?

But, forget the religious debate - helpless addicts attitude is crap. IT'S A CHOICE! Check out the book "Addiction is a Choice!" on Amazon...

one more thing - it also has in big white letters at the bottom "MISSING" - and that is diminishing the ability to be able to read the number of days sober and the 12 steps. thanks so much in advance - you have to be really smart to make one of these things and I couldn't even begin to build one. This tool will help hundreds of thousands of recovering addicts.

I cannot seem to get the proper graphic behind the wording - the words are there but there is an international "no" (red circle with a red diagonal line through it) and some kind of strange picture behind the words and the number of days sober (or whatever you choose) and no matter what color I change the font to, I can't read the steps or see the number of days. Please help - this is an extremely important tool for our home. My husband is just 15 days out and it will really help him to see his progress every single day - it will be a great encouragement to him.
