Ambience

Ambience sets the mood on your computer by altering the wallpaper based on the current weather and time. You can set different images for sunny, cloudy, rainy, foggy, stormy, or snowy weather. All of these conditions can also be altered based on the time.
Wallpaper images are not included in this Widget. You must find your own images. See the Widget Info page for some good wallpaper sites to use.

Until I can update the widget... well.. I can't....
But in response, Adding mid day- midnight settings seem easy.. But will just take boring work.. Maybe for a rainy or sick afternoon! Same with the folder idea..
As for the 10 minute or "Instantanious" updates, the weather service that I poll (weather.com) does not let you poll in inter… More

1. Reduce the minimum update time to 10 mins or so.. You can have instant changes... when it rains and all
2. Read sunrise and sunset time and keep seperate pics for it
3. Change the brightness of bitmaps itself.. seamlessly according to time... during sunrise and sunset... the changes will be dramatic and noticable
I have made a set of pics for my desktop... I can share it wid people if they need it ;)

1. Add dawn and dusk options, as well as dead of night (e.g. 12am-3am)
2. Allow folders for each weather condition and an option to randomly select images within those particular folders for each condition. I have a lot of wallpapers that would fit "cloudy", for example, so it would be nice to be able to have it cycle between all the available ones, and so on for each category.

The picture above shows the temp box in the corner of the pic. I don't see a function for choosing its position. Mine is smack dab in the middle. Am I missing something?
Would also be neat if you could change its colors.
