Any Radio

Based on a "Jenson MP3310" Car Stereo Unit - this Widget will let you set your own radio station and then sit on your desktop just like it was in the dashboard of your car.

Most of the buttons work just like the real thing. (that is the ones that are working as of this release). The unit is sizable so it won't take up too much desktop area, and features some nice things like, flashing display ( as close to the real things as possible without spending days on it.).

Great widget, but one little problem.

This is a really great widget. I like the car stereo layout too - familiar and easy. But I have to agree with Terry B here -- Where's the #@*$& power button? Closing the widget, finding it in the dock among other widgets I don't use, and opening it again is annoying.

I have a hack solution for this though. Set your radio preset 0 to a station URL that doesn't exist, like http://www.whyistherenopowerbutton.com/dontlisten.m3u
Give it a name (like I named mine SHUT UP!! just to be More

Add your local stations, no problem

I love this widget! and I have found a way to add your local stations even if it has Flash Embedded stream. If your haven't figured it out I can write up a tut with pictures to show you how. It;s simple. You will need to use Mozilla Firefox because you need a Add on or Plug in to strip the station apart to get the correct URL. I wish this widget had on off button instead of just having to close it.
