Two things keep this from being the best RSS-reader
1) Rotate between (selected) themes. I'd like to see more than one of the feeds. it is already done in AllNews by Jim Bloom. I guess you may copy some code from here.
2) Customize which end the news detail pops out. I have all my widgets stuck to the right side of my desktop. Details of the news should then use the working area towards center of my desktop - towards left. I guess others would prefer it to pop upwards or downwards.

Josh - glad to hear you like the look. It was designed by my friend Fredrik Marcus for the Macfeber widget and then used (with permission) in the ESPNEWS Headlines widget, which was then the basis for the Reuters RSS Reader widget, that this widget is based on.

I've been looking for a long time for a good looking news-reader, and this is pretty much it. I just wished that there was a dark blue or black color scheme to match the standard widgets. You also might want to put some more space in between the news feeds to make it easier to glance at.

Outstanding, but large. The veil on the right should only appear when the details button is depressed, otherwise it just eats up the valuable real estate I call a desktop. Also, how about if the top and bottom bars opened and closed to reveal and then hide the headlines, oh, and maybe add color pickers to the menu. A great widget that can only get better.

Not bad, should make the selection of the news feed a drop down in the next version.
