Please DO NOT USE THIS VERSION until I sort this out.

The current widget on the download link is not mine!

I'll look at always displaying the last image by default - I've always run it with a connection active.

Oddly enough, attempting to download your widget right now downloads a version of Astronomy Picture of the Day written by someone else.

Also, I hope that when you have time, you could add the feature to the widget so that it doesn't attempt to update the picture when no connection is available, so that always at least some picture from APoD is displayed.

OK, found the problem with the slide out - it will be fixed in version 2.7 along with a minor improvement in the slding animation, a title added to the text, and quick resizing added to the widget context menu.

It should be available in a day or two.
