Apps Burnin' Hotkeys

This Widget allow you to assign applications to hotkeys. When you press the hotkeys (command + F1,2,3,or 4) the application opens. If you want to quit the program do the same thing except instead of command use control.

You probably could turn on "universal access" through system preferences to allow use of the F keys without having to use the function key, however, then volume and brightness, etc., will need to be used with the function key.

To use the F-keys on an iBook or PowerBook, hold down the "fn" key (to the left of the control key) in addition to whatever keystroke you are trying to use. So for this widget on a laptop, use fn+command+F3

This is a good idea, but doesnt work for me - on the powerbook 12 inches the F keys control the brightness, volume, etc. - holding down the command key doesnt change that, i'm still getting brightness, volume settings instead of hotkeys.

Good widget. Here's what you should do: Have a quit option, like if you hit the same "F" key but with a diferent key other than command it will quit that application.
