Atomic Clock

by William Warby

Atomic clock is a digital clock made of pixels which animate to give the effect of the digits morphing into one another. It is highly customisable, allowing you to select various background and pixel styles and colours and choose which elements of the display are visible, and in response to popular demand it is now resizable.

The design was inspired by an open-source experimental Flash file from the incredible bit-101.com.

NOTE:
If you like this Widget check out Atomic Timer too; it's a highly customizable countdown / count up timer based on this design.

I first found out about this digital clock widget from looking at a screenshot of a person I have added to my watch list on deviantART and the way she customized it along with everything else on her desktop (icons, other widgets, and wallpaper) was so appealing! I knew I had to get this clock, and with a friend's help and searching here it is and I really couldn't be happier.
It is easily customizable with any wallpaper you have (so no more searching for a clock that matches your wallpap More

I love this clock, it is the only one I use now!

My only issue with the widget is that it doesn't keep its correct "level of window" setting when the computer restarts. For example, I like to keep it on top so I can always see it, but other windows will cover it unless I re-set the "level of window" setting each time I load the widget.

Does this clock sync with an Atomic Time Server? Can't seem to find that info anywhere... and I just assumed b/c of the "Atomic" in the name. Love the resize...

If it doesn't sync on it's on (just displays the system time) this would be a very useful feature to add. Not begging... just saying :)

I'm in the radio industry... and time is important... Love the look of your widget... Would be awesome if you could set it to sync with a time server as frequently as once a m More

It would be very nice to have a calendar included with the widget, maybe displaying the current date as tooltip and with double-click get the full calendar just like windows does.
In my case I stop using the windows's clock and sometimes need the calendar.
