Atomic Clock

Atomic clock is a digital clock made of pixels which animate to give the effect of the digits morphing into one another. It is highly customisable, allowing you to select various background and pixel styles and colours and choose which elements of the display are visible, and in response to popular demand it is now resizable.

The design was inspired by an open-source experimental Flash file from the incredible bit-101.com.

The number 12 thing is a bug. This, along with a few other minor adjustments and one new feature (AM/PM indicator) are in version 1.2 which is submitted and awaiting approval.

I've been working most of the day on my new 'Atomic Timer' widget based on this design. It'll be finished very shortly so keep any eye out - I hope you'll all be suitably impressed ;-)

Excellent upgrade to an already great widget. The transparent background, the resizeable, the lead zero - all are great. Now my only question is, what about the 12? In 12 hour mode why does it have to have a zero and not the number 12?

If you would like to use the bezier curves animation from the morphing numbers link I posted let me know and I can email it to you. (dmccarty at gmail dot com) It was done in Director but if you can use Flash you should be fine.
