Auto-Update

Auto-Update pulls a string of text from a webpage and updates the display according to the user's setting. Useful for keeping track of information on page that displays dynamic, time-sensitive content (e.g. now-playing for a radio station).

Thank you for the note, but I must protest that I did test the widget on several different computers before releasing it. The fact of the matter is that I simply chose to leave full control in the hands of the end-user.

What do you have the refresh rate set to? On the Win XP system that I am using right now, I see fluctuation between 0 and 3% with a refresh rate of 30 seconds. If I up the refresh to every 1 second, my CPU usage shoots up to 25%. The faster you set the refresh, the more CPU re… More

Nice concept but should have been tested before releasing.
