November 16, 2007 · version 1.0.7Visual treatment is appealing & probably practical for most. Still doesn't feel optimal, most notably in the realm of widget sizing. I'm reminded of the 80's brick cell phones; yes they were functional and technically "mobile", yet some would argue their bulk partially negated the latter. .Avalanche doesn't quite fully respect the "compact" property of widgets. November 16, 2007 · version 1.0.7Fantastic widget! The only thing I wish is that I could shrink it's size when there are no changes made, but make it the size it is now when there are changes that I need to view.
Having it sit on my desktop at the current size is a lot of real estate on a continual basis, but I see how valuable its size is if I want to navigate within it.
