Thanks for the feedback. The widget does have code to handle an environment where no battery is present, however it seems that this is not working as it ought to. I plan to do some testing on various computers with and without batteries and fix bugs as I find them.

Only thing is that if there is no battery in my laptop when I start it up, the widget fails to load and I have to manually load it after a battery is in it. Anyway to show another state with no battery?

I just tried loading this on an ibook running tiger with both ywe 3.14 and 3.15 and had nothing load (through the widget appeared in the ywe menu on the menu bar. Also tried it on a windows xp system with ywe 3.1.2 and after agreeing to run it got a dialog stating "Battery_Time was unable to load itself successfully" -- admitedly the windows system was a desktop with no battery but I don't think this is the expected behavior when no battery is present. Is there a problem running with the newest versions of ywe?

WOW! What an awesome widget! Options at start are what all widgets should aim for. Great feature to vary reporting times. WELL DONE

when I use the widget in horizontal mode it works fine but when I change the preferences to vertical layout, the bar goes vertical but it appears blank, no info. If I switch it back to horizontal layout the info i.e. 54% 1:54 returns.
