Battery Time

Battery Time is an incredibly full featured battery Widget that sports a simple and attractive design. This Widget has intelligent defaults for the casual user and a tremendous amount of customizability for the power user. Battery Time automatically responds to changes in the computer's power source and loads one of four profiles for each battery state.

Great Widget--my only request is to add an option to set the "Level of Window". Right now, the widget is always on top and occasionally gets in the way of other applications.

Thank you for the suggestions Jerry g. I've been considering adding an audible alert and possibly a visual one as well. As for the "compatibility mode", I'm working on a feature that would actively calculate time remaining based upon how fast the battery is depleted. Also I'm working on multi line displays and more text information for vertical mode.

I think you should add a battery compatability mode to fix the problem that the time left is shown as ... and a alarm that will beep when the battery is depleted. both these features can be found in another widget called BATTERY_MONITOR by. Paul Malmsten

Thanks for the feedback, SB. The updated version now includes options to choose when to consider the battery charged.

One suggestion: since the PowerBook batteries often stop charging at anywhere from 96-99%, you should make the "charging" layer adjustable. As it is, mine will never show green since it never stays at 100%.
