This Widget has the BBC Radio live streams for all of the UK¬ís BBC FM stations plus Radio 4 Long Wave (59 stations), the 6 most popular BBC foreign language services, plus BBC News 24 TV for those in the UK (Geo IP checked), which displays in a separate window (not under the control of the Widget once opened). Ray SThis has just been uploaded to Yahoo! for their release. Extra filters have been applied to remove duplicate entries that exist in the BBC XML files and also to filter by dates of availability.

Update on the update!
Ray SIn further testing I have found that the BBC XML files are not always consistent in their structure of the nodes. In a small number of cases this leads to recordings being selected as mp3 instead of RealPlayer.
Version 4.7 will address this problem and is undergoing further testing to ensure resilience. I expect to release this within 7 days.

Listen Again - Update
Ray SI shall be releasing version 4.7 which will cure a problem caused by the BBC XML files not having consistent node structure, causing a mismatch in pairing the encoding with the address.
Testing is underway and I expect that the release to Yahoo will be withing two or three dats from now.

Listen Again - Update - 24th January 2009 - It's Working!
Ray SFinally, I've managed to get the lIsten Again feature working again. It uses "on Demand" XML feeds from the BBC so it only cobers the major national radio channels. The BBC data in these files is less than accurate as some of the programs that the file say are available are, in fact, not available. I just hope that as time goes by that things get organised beeter as these lists also have duplicate entries for programmes that went out on more than one occassion.

Listen Again - Update
Ray SI've just successfully completed a test of Radio 4 Listen Again. However due to the new and obtuse addressing used by the BBC in their new layout, it is very time consuming (approx. 40 seconds to create a list).
This is only for Radio 4 as the other stations differ. As a result, unless the BBC replies with the locations of the A to Z Listen Again schedules for extraction I think it will be impractical to re-program the Listen Again feature with this overhead and diversity of extraction.
I am trying to get a reply and will keep the blog updated as I het news.
