If using Vista please check the volume levels in the mixer as the widget will have its own level within that object.

The 4.9 version doesn't start, maybe an extra complement is needed. 4.8 version start ok

New in Version 4.9

Programme schedules for selected BBC stations are available by clicking on the hotpots on the left or right frame of the widget (to display left or right). Where more than 20 programmes the fist program displayed will be the current one.

The Listen Again lists now include the latest broadcast date for each entry further refining the list. All items that are in the schedule for the current day are also in…cluded as long as the schedule update time supplied by the BBC is after the programme availability start time. This is to ensure, where possible, that the recording is available.

The “now and next” programme information for BBC stations is selected by clicking on the station name under the central logo. Clicking on this will set the display back to the station name.

Please note that there is a 4 to 5 second delay in activating and closing any Windows Media Player stream.

Important - Note: This release will reset all station data to the new version that has all of the additional features. If you have added in any stations you must make a note and re-enter them after the initial run after the update. More

Update - I've looked at a number of stations that emp[ly this stream and they also use the M3U format which is compatable with Windows Media Player.

Radio Swiss Classic is one example. Their two streams are -

I have tested the M3U stream and that plays fine in the widget.

With the assistance of fellow widgeteers the next version is being tested. This version introduces a new feature of displaying the station schedule for the day, and by clicking on the programme title a short synopsis is displayed. The schedule can be displayed either to left or right of the widget and is displayed/hidden by clicking on the hotspots on the left and right widget frame.

Changes to 4.8 operation - the "now and next" information is displayed/hidden by clicking onthe text u…nder the main station logo.

The changes were necessary as scrolling text is CPU hungry, so the changes were for performance reasons
