I'm going to vent a little frustration here... I've worked painstakingly to deliver a calculator that overcomes the rounding bugs that were inescapable due to javascript's floating point errors, which are built into the wdiget engine. I think I've come up with a very good solution, and my calculator gives accurate answers. (Try 80.57 - 50.57 - 30 on all the other widget calculators and see if you get an answer of 0...)

The calculator is not doing the wrong math. I NEVER intended… to honor the order of operations, as I wanted a simple widget calculator that gave accurate answers.

If this is important to you, please, write your own or don't use my mine. But I think for it's intended purpose, it's the best out there... More

When you type 2+2*2 it should give a result of 8 , and it should be 6.
the widget does not take into account the order of operands

most simple calculators do that, ones that are cost more then few $ knows the rules of math

you should fix that. (windows calc make the same mistake)

All the other calculator widgets have a million different things I don't care to use. I just wanted a simple, elegant widget that could be used for basic calculating. This is it.

Nothing more, nothing less. What more can you say? It's great. It even supports keyboard input!

Why don't you put in an own updatefunction? My Widgets gets updates from my own server, because waiting on the Gallery Update takes sometimes much too long.

I just submitted a new version, 1.0.2 that should fix the keyboard input for keyboards without a keypad. It will hopefully appear in the gallery soon.
