The calculator is not intended to honor the order of operations. Like every simple calculator I've seen, it calculates the numbers in the order you entered them. It works just as the windows calculator works. It's not hard to enter your numbers in the order you want to get the answer you want! I'm sure people will whip out a real calculator or a spreadsheet if they need to crunch some serious numbers. But this widget should do quite nicely for everything else.

For example: 6+2*4 = 32 this is the result it gives, but the correct answer is 14!!

If you like it, I'd appreciate a nice rating. Right now when you search for calculator, this widget doesn't show up near the top. Lots of good ratings (only if deserving of course) would help.

@jimmylinkl -- What did you mean by 'Hope that a new version will be available soon!'? Was there anything about this version that wasn't working for you?

This is the first calculator widget (at least that I've found) where you can actually use keyboard input. I've tried a number of others (all very nice) that said you could use the keyboard, but alas, all I could get to work was the mouse. Rather cumbersome. This is real nice!

I have tried to find a widget calculator which could use keyboard to operate under Yahoo! Widget 4.x.

Finally, this is the one best meet my need! Hope that a new version will be available soon!
