Wish this would work! I can sure use it. Is the script code editable? Mabye we can fix it.

Great concept, very bad implementation. Does not write to the file, did not even create it. When I made a summary file it had the date in the name of the file, great, but the year was 1969.

Poor Q&A by the developer, IMO.

I got it to work and it rocks!

Two things: at first, it had the name of "bill it.widget.widget" and i removed the two "widget" names. Then I set it to use the desktop for the .txt files. At first, i had the problems that others had talked about, but I kept working with having it on the desktop, and I got it to work.

Sorry that I'm not technical enough to tell you exactly what I did, but i kept watching to see that the time stamps were being made into the billit_r…ecords.txt file, and when it does that, then it works like a charm.....so, keep fiddling with it, whatever the bug is, it's not a fatal flaw. BELIEVE me, if I can fix it, it's POSSIBLE! I just used the preferences pane....... I didn't mess with any of the programming guts, as I don't know how.

AND, the only draw back that I can tell from the function of it is that if I have it set for 5 minutes, and I don't click at the end of the 5 minutes, then I'm not "on More

i got a 'Billing_summary_ending_1969_12_31.txt' summary after it crashed and i hit 'wasting time' and checked to see if it would recall any of the earlier data. the next time, i billed for 30 secs, hit 'wasting time' and the summary was dated normally. while i'm not thrilled it crashed, i'm happy that there was at least a record of times, which is better than Job Logger does (it crashes ALL the time and the data is lost).

I would love this one also if it worked. Can't wait to see the new version....I hope he is doing one!!!
