Charlie, I love the idea of this widget and really really would like it to work. I am getting the problem with:

0 mins (0 hours) billed to for:
undefined

appearing in the Billing_records.txt file.

FYI - Here's what I'm doing:

- Click on the widget
- Enter in the time and project/job
- After some time, click on Make summary file

I looked at the file - Billing_summary something or other, and it had …the above errors. I then created the Billing_records.txt file as someone suggested, but it didn't help. More

I just rebooted this AM and my machine warned me of a file named "Program" on the C: drive. I brought it up in UltraEdit and found this:

30,09/01/2005,15:17,---,--- Files/Pixoria/Konfabulator/Widgets/Bill It! folder/BillIt_records.txt

Can I move this? Is it in the wrong place so it makes the Widget not work?

I am sorry for my latest repeat post of my previous comments but I am still waiting for a newer version and according to the forum there is a new working version waiting to be uploaded to widget gallery.

Charlie, can you please post it on your personal website or some place like sourceforge.net so that we can all benefit. I hope the widget gallery upload also starts to work.

I agree with that the forums need a login and I can't figure out yet where to sign up.

Great idea, raw implementation. I can't wait for version 2.

As everybody else I have the same problem with no Billit_records.txt file being created if none exists and then when I do a summary it breaks like everybody else has reported.

What is the mechanism to check back to see if Charlie uploaded a new version? May be Charlie should create a googlegroups (or yahoogroups) list for all interested and them people can post back and forth there. (IdeasRUs!)

As Charlie requested about 11 posts below, please send your further comments by e-mail or on the forums. I think it's reasonable to say that this potentially great Widget is in beta-testing stage.

Please, no more negative reviews here. Charlie is offering a great idea and a potentially great Widget. I really didn't like seeing the stars go down to 2-1/2 tonight.

If you have something constructive to add, my humble suggestion is to please go to the forums.
