Ahh yes - the widget summary doesnt bail out if there is no billing records file where you said it should be in the prefs. I can easily check for the presence of the needed records first, and then give an alert if the file is not found. Is this the expected behavior?

I also encountered the error message you mentioned, but it's actually easy to fix it. Just make sure that a file named 'BillIt_records.txt' actually exists in the folder you assigned at the Widget Preferences section. I set the widget up to save to a 'My Documents' subfolder at first, but decided to point it to a simpler directory path (no spaces in between folder names and not too deep). 'Rebooted' Konfabulator after that (just to be sure) and it worked lik…e a charm.

well i think he will fix it soon enuf, this being the first build, it might turn out to be good once a fix is found

The concept is excellent. Sadly, like "Strawberry", I also get the invalid date message.

Widgets are useful only if they work. Unfortunately, this one seems to still need a little work before it is ready to be useful.

This is going to revolutionize my entire life (seriously, my company's billing system is horrid). The only thing I can't figure out is why, when I try to make a summary file, it says "Invalid Date to Wednesday, December 31, 1969 16:00:00===" I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Any suggestions?
