Bouncy Ball

A ball that bounces. Pick it up and throw it around your desktop. Possibly similar to "Go Go Redball!" Widget on Apple's site, but as I don't have a Mac, I don't really know! The Widget shows some of the issues with the built in animator routine in Yahoo! Widget Engine and looks for answers.

Great effort, but as others have commented, not-so-great performance. Physics animation is best enjoyed closer to 'real time', which this widget can't quite offer on most systems (such as P4 3.4GHz/2GB RAM).

Ok, now i know what is the difference to Gillespie`s Bouncy Ball.

Gillespie`s Bouncy Ball works perfect on my 1.5 GHz PC with perfect animation, your Bouncy Ball seems to need a 3.4 GHz DoubleCore Prozessor or equivalent.

Sorry, but your Widgets seems to be a performace killer application. Don't know how the Gallery Team is testing, but Widgets like this shouldn't get their way to gallery.
