I have fixed the original Calculator widget and made some small improvements, as well as making it Windows compatible. I've been out of the widget business for a while and therefor I didn't know my widget was broken. The fix is done the correct way (there was a change in how Konfabulator treat transparent images in 1.7), not by hacking up the images.
It's pretty easy to move the widget, you have to drag in the "Answer Frame", not the calculator frame. The calculator frame is only used to display the answer frame and the equasion editor. Click in the button area to display the equasion editor, click in the LCD area of the calulator to display the answer frame.

I have a few problems with this widget. For one thing, I can't figure out how to move it from one area of the screen to another (on either 10.3.5 or Tiger). It can't just be clicked and dragged like other widgets. Secondly, even at the larger size, you cannot actually click on the calculator image's buttons (if that was the intent). You have to have the separate window. So, am I missing the point, or is this no better than Apple's calculator...and frankly, how good can a calculator app/widget get?
