Wow... Calgary? Nicely done, but wish they could include more cams closer to the north.

Cool stuff. I actually got to see the command center where they operate all these things (I'm with IT Services for the city gov't); it's really sweet. Anyways, good job on the widget, it's great.

Hi Nexxai, That is where most of the images come from. I noticed that the images haven't changed since yesterday evening. I'll see if I can find out what is up.

If you're no using these already: http://www.travelinfotest.ab.ca/default.asp?display=base&area=Calgary&textOnly=False has all 10 cameras that the city just put up. I'm sure there's a way to parse them. It also looks as if it's using cached pictures. Do they only take pictures during rush hour?

Thanks for all the comments. If you find any other cameras around please let me know and I'll include them. There is a camera in a neighborhood but it just points at someone's cul-de-sac so I didn't include it. With the excellent response (633 downloads already), I'm looking forward to releasing my next widget!
