Callwave is a great service. Completely free. I've used it for almost a year with no problems. Gives you the opportunity to check your voicemails on your pc or your phone. The Vtext feature still needed some improvements, but other than that, it was a good service.
I am now only using YouMail because they allow you to personalize voicemails for each caller. So basically they offer a few more features that I like.

ProductKim: CallWave Virtual Voicemail through Yahoo Widget is completely free. It does use your regular phone minutes just like your old voicemail.
Chris: You can check your voicemail messages from your phone by simply calling your own number.
