looks like with some visual changes this could upgrade to the countdown calendar of mac tiger dashboard countdown. I've been looking for one to complement the mac version I have.

This is also good for people who quit smoking or drinking or whatever. Personally I "Haven't drunk in 42 days, and counting....."
