Clipboard Washer
Clipboard Washer's simple aim is to remove the formatting of any text your drop on it. You can drag and drop text from any application that supports it (Word, Acrobat, and Internet Explorer among others).
It simplifies the copy-and-pasting operations from one "rich-text" application to another. No need to do a "Paste special" in Word or to copy the text first in Notepad and then in Word. Clipboard Washer will make sure that the final text you get is unformatted.

November 16, 2007 · version 1.241 RvSaysI use it since yesterday : it's definitly GREAT.
It gives me all the control i need to copy - paste between XL, Word, OOO, Microsoft Live or Yahoo, etc., i had no limitations for the moment. No need to click inside an XL cell to copy it's content !
Tip for first users : keep it visible and discrete (floating window with 30% opacity) to see the flashing widget when conversion is done after copy, you'll be shure of the result.

November 16, 2007 · version 1.241 S PIt keeps telling me that there's an update, I click YES to update it, restart it, and it tells me again that there's an update. I even tried downloading it and moving it into the widgets folder and re-opening it. I still get prompted to update. The About box says it's 1.21.

November 16, 2007 · version 1.241 LaurentScott, it's a small bug due to the change to YWE4, it will be fixed in version 1.23. In the meantime, you can disable the automatic update detection in the Preferences.

November 16, 2007 · version 1.241 jboweobrienI installed version 1.23 but still every time Windows XP starts up the Widget detects that a new version is available?
PS - I love this widget, extremely useful.
