Countdown
Another countdown Widget, but this one is different. One can change the event title and date, color of the text, font of the text, and skin of the Widget.
Countdown .j now has a new countdown function based loosely from Abdullah Bakry's Countdown! For now, it will be Windows only until I can resolve some minor details. Preference window now looks better. Enjoy!
It now has a custom preference window! It no longer uses (except for the window preference) the default preference menu, to allow easier use of it as well as the better look it brings.

August 01, 2006 · version .h.b JakeMploof, you can have multiple instances of the Widget if you make a few copies of countdown and rename the copies (you could do countdown 1, countdown 2, or halo 3 countdown, gears of war countdown, etc.). Then all you have to do is run them in Yahoo! Widget Engine and you should be good.

July 31, 2006 · version .h.b alex pawlowskii am currently working on a total revamp of Countdown to make it more user friendly as well as changing Nano and Normal modes to make them better. If anyone has any suggestions please add some feedback for things you would like to see... Also, after extensive testing countdown is better.. and i hope there are no other problems with it.

June 20, 2006 · version .f.c big smoothstill get any count later in the year (like October) to not display correctly. I have to say that this is my favorite countdown based on the ability to customzie the display, but I have to give up on it because the actual date countdown just does not work for me. Perhaps if your countdown is not to a date that is far out, then it might work for you. But if you want to use it to countdown to a later date, like a vacation, then it may not be the best.
