This 'lil fella will tell you the date and scale to whatever size you want him to be. His header will change to whatever color you please and he can display the current date in 33 languages!

you can mask the widget and get the number of the day anyway.
Bonus: you get the day of the week and everything is in your language = 5/5 ! :D

Ricky RomeroMayco Castro: To further help your search through my code, all you need to do is look for "filesystem" in the JavaScript. The filesystem object is what Konfabulator uses for all of its interaction with files on your hard disk or other media (filesystem.delete, filesystem.read, filesystem.write, etc.).
You'll see that I only have a couple of filesystem calls:
Desk Calendar.kon (Line 104): Used to read the Dock XML file in the Widget contents.
Handlers.js (Lines 31, 36): These two lines open the Calendar application you've set in your preferences.
