I use this widget for a long time and it is extremely useful. Absolutely ingenious. Version 2.3 has excellent functionality improvements. The new export/import option is especially indispensable. Yet, I liked very much the crooked, artful appearance of the earlier versions. It blended so nicely into the desktop and added much visual flair. It all looks too rectangular and boring now. Can you bring back an option to choose between the new look and the old, inspirational, look?

This is the one I have been looking for. I cannot get some applications to respond. I am sure it has to do with the fact that I am dragging shortcuts from my current desktop. i.e. remote desktop connections. Can someone please help me! This appears to be the best widget to date. CB

    Hi Philip,

I have been trying to fix that since version 1 of this widget. I have been scanning the forums and no one seems to be able to make links open in a new window for IE. It's a real pain. I will add it as soon as I find a solution.

    Hi Andy,

just installed the new version. Great, just missing one thing. I use a lot of links to web-sites. Isn't is possible to open a new window of IE in stead of using the one that is already open ???

    TIA

    Philip

    Hi grapeApe,
I have had a play with this and it looks like setting the pref to 'Floating' disables the widget and it only becomes active when the 'Heads Up Display' screen is active.

    PeterHall,
Still not quite sure what you mean my remove "headings". If the 'Remove Headings...' option on the right-click menu doesn't work, then you could try and export your favourites, rename the widget, open it and them inport your favourites.
