I just got a new MacBook Pro and did the Yahoo Widgets and dotProject tracker install from scratch. I still have the same issue as previously described.

Is there any way to get this to work on a Mac?

After a lot of testing I have determined that the widget is connecting properly. i.e. If i enter invalid user name or password info, the top window is red. With valid info, the top window is the proper "LCD display" color and I get "Welcome username"

But on the two Macs I have installed on, the project list never displays.

I have talked to a colleague in Paris who has it installed on a Mac with OS 10.5 and it works fine. He even logged in with my credentials and he could s…ee everything properly.

I have installed on 10.5 and 10.4.8 on two different machines and connected through work (corporate network) as well as home (DSL)

Any thoughts? Less

I am sure of my configuration and URLs, I definitely have projects and assigned tasks in dotproject. but the widget doesn't ever display a list of projects or tasks!

This widget works for the most part *ONLY* if you have a standard dotProject deployment. One major failure is the inability to modify the widget parameters to take into account customizations in your project stages.

Other commenters have noted the few design flaws such as "resize" handles that do nothing.

Suggestion: It would be nice to have a "manager" view, where a manager can look at the status of all projects, or at least all their projects.
