If it is any help, I downloaded your other three widgets and got an error log with Eastenders and while Mosquito didn't return any info, the three tabs all worked and loaded the appropriate web pages. I will email the particulars with the results of the debugging file. Thanks.

Now on the hard part. Historically, this has been difficult for me just because I do not have a Mac to test with. I have relied on friends with Macs to help test.

There are a few likely suspects.

One thing I can do is to give you a version of the widget that will write out the html that is returned from the web site. If connectivity is ok, there might be another reason that …some websites refuse an http request...like browser detection, for instance. - If you arent using IE, then forget it....sort of thing -

I can send you a version of Drugs that will write the returned HTML to a file. You can then just email me the file and I will be able to tell if the request made it to the web site and what it returned.

Sorry I gave you less info than I should have. What has me confused is the fact that some widgets connect to the web without a problem (Atlanta Cam, Dictionary.com Lookup, Pittsburgh Traffic, and SweetSearch for example) while others (Stock Ticker, The Weather, and MLBScores among others) either do nothing or pop up a box that says they can not connect to their network, check my connection or try again later. This situation existed prior to v.2.1 and only affects widgets on my Powerbook connecte…d to my home network via Airport. All widgets on my desktop Mac connected to the LAN via Ethernet perform flawlessly. And yes, I am really interested in your widgets. MLBScores is a minor masterpiece, the play by play option is excellent, and I look forward to having the Drugs widget as a handy and comprehensive reference. I very much appreciate your efforts. WADERX, apparently, this is a fairly common problem relating to the upgrade of Konfabulator to 2.1. The Windows support forum has a bunch of posts about this issue. I guess the fix is to delete the Window portion of the widget preferences in your registry. Not a very nice thing to do for an average person.

I'll try to tell you here. But, please be careful. Make a registry backup if you want.

1) Make sure that the Drugs widget is closed
2) Run regedit.exe
3) Find the following ke…y:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER-SOFTWARE-PIXORIA-KONFABULATOR-WIDGETS-DRUGS

4) Delete the Drugs key

5) Restart the widget and you should be all set. More

Just downloaded latest vs 2.1. Only get the upper 1/4 left of drug info window. [well at least I did not have to pay for it]
Looks like you will have to modify your prg. to work...
