DVD Bitrate Calculator

A simple calculator for working out the necessary settings for producing Mpeg2 files for DVD.

This Widget is to be followed up by a number of other codec calculators.

This Widget is free to be altered as you wish. All images are designed by me and are free for public use.

this widget would be great if it had more customizable features, whenever i encode to dvd i always use cbr mode because i have had problems with vbr mode having bitrate spikes so it would be great if you could choose which mode to use

This is a great idea for a widget. The DVD graphic form is cute, but I don't think it's necessary considering that it makes it difficult to make all of the information readable and well structured.

It would be great too if there were more fields to enter data. Such as still images, alternate audio tracks etc. to factor into figuring out the bit budget.
