Earthquakes

The Earthquakes Widget shows a world map with the latest earthquake information from USGS. Earthquakes are shown as circles, with a larger circle indicating a larger earthquake. Quakes within the last day are shown in yellow, those within the last week are shown in green. Right-click (or Ctrl-click on OS X) allows you to zoom in or out and open the USGS earthquake information page for any earthquake. Earthquake information is automatically refreshed about every three hours.

ELITE 3000I have a request: Can you make it play a sound so that a new quake is reported, and the loudness of the sound depending on the magnitude of the earthquake, and to play a sound whether an update to the widget is available? Also, can u add a feature so users can set the duration between updates ranging from 5 minute to 120 minutes in 5-minute intervals? Oh and improve on the zooming feature.

I love the program, but for some reason, when I tried to zoom in, it did it on the space under the south pole. Now it is completely zoomed in on that black part, and when I click right anywhere, I don't get the option of zooming out. Even when I tried to reinstall the widget, it still showed me the map zoomed in on that space. Any way I could reset the widget?

RossNow I can tell when there is an earthquake before the news. It looks great. Just when there is a big earthquake the ring seems to pixelated. Could use a fix. Great! Thanks!
