Earthquakes

The Earthquakes Widget shows a world map with the latest earthquake information from USGS. Earthquakes are shown as circles, with a larger circle indicating a larger earthquake. Quakes within the last day are shown in yellow, those within the last week are shown in green. Right-click (or Ctrl-click on OS X) allows you to zoom in or out and open the USGS earthquake information page for any earthquake. Earthquake information is automatically refreshed about every three hours.

Hi Greg, I'm having the same problems as 'rasai2' - this widget is suddenly unable to access the USGS site, after performing perfectly for months. My other widgets are fine. Any tips would be most welcome!

Hello Greg, Have liked all of your work back to X-Earth and use them for my 'predictions'. I am no longer able to load this widget yet all of the other widgets I use are working correctly. I have removed/reinstalled 'Earthquakes' to no avail. Any suggestions would be appreciated ... it's back to a-Earth for now,

When I try to download it I am told it can't find the file type. Any suggestions?

I downloaded to "my widgets" folder and opened it without any problems. Of course you must have the widget engine installed and running first to work. Nice little widget with the added features you have with it.
