Earthquakes

The Earthquakes Widget shows a world map with the latest earthquake information from USGS. Earthquakes are shown as circles, with a larger circle indicating a larger earthquake. Quakes within the last day are shown in yellow, those within the last week are shown in green. Right-click (or Ctrl-click on OS X) allows you to zoom in or out and open the USGS earthquake information page for any earthquake. Earthquake information is automatically refreshed about every three hours.

When I try to download it I am told it can't find the file type. Any suggestions?

I've seen this on my mates computer and saw how informative it was. We are in the city that people thought were going to get hit by a tsunami from the Tonga quake. I want this but it doesn't work with the latest download.. why is this?

I was running this when the Tonga 8.0 earthquake hit - shows its relative strength well!

Interesting widget. It works great. I never realized how many earthquakes occur each day. Also, I got earthquake info even before CNN reported it on a large one that took place not too long ago in South Africa, 7.2 I think. Only problem is I'm addicted to it, have to check it out each time I check my email! :-) Thanks for the widget.
