Floresense WorldClock

by harish palaniappan

A world clock Widget which fetches city-level time (with Daylight Saving Time info). It allows users to search a city list and add them to the clock. The city and timezone list is privately maintained on floresense.com servers.

    Nice

Neat widget. And, squarepegger, if GMT is needed, you can pick a city that has GMT as its time (and does not have DST/summer time, hence NOT London). Around west Africa.
    For example: Abidjan, Ivory Coast.

It would be even better if GMT (UTC) were available as a "city".

    Neat Widget

This is the most convenient world clock ever. After trying three different world clocks, this one beat them all by already establishing the times from another source rather than making the user define the times. I can finally keep track of when I can call family in 5 different locations without waking them up!

Mostly great but a couple of problems

It still shows Daylight Saving Time on Nov 2 2008 for at least the US Mountain Time zone, although the US reverted to Standard Time the night of Nov 1/2 at 0200 Nov 2. You really can't call it a World Clock because it doesn't display World Time, i.e., UTC/GMT. Re: Fajar S's comment, UTC/GMT is the same time everywhere and should *be labeled* UTC or GMT, not Abidjan.
