thanks for resolving the issue...been a fan of the Widget for a long time and past few days tried to find a widget close to this one, couldnt find one near as useful as this one. Was relieved when i found it working again.

This is from Harish Palaniappan the author of the floresense world clock widget.
I regained ownership of my domain floresense.com

Don't bother the errors you got or getting with the clock till now..
All you have to do is.. close the clock or yahoo widgets itself.. and restart the widget.
and then try a sync..

if it gives problems still.. request you to remove all cities and add again.. or best, rename the widget file under mydocuments/my widgets in windows.. to some name like worldClock…_corrected.widget and run it.

What had happened was, I transferred my domain recently to a new registrar.. but forgot that i used the cr.card to pay them.. and when their transaction came on the bill without their company name but some malicious sounding 'domain services charges' .. i mistook it as a spoof charge by someone and asked for a reversal which i got.. and so my registrar without contacting me, happily pulled off the domain transfer itself from my name..

i had to later explain them the mistake and pay an administration fee of 50$ just to convince them reprocess the order as a new one under my name.

whatever.. finally got ownership of the domain.. and the world clock and my site all works now..

Thanks for your patience.. if you are still reading this and trying the clock though I have been not so quick in supporting / managing to correct the problems.

I will soon(by 15th March) release a great new version of the world clock.. If you are still around, post me(harish _at_ Floresense.com) what all you would like to see in the new version.. and I will be listening .. thanks for your time

I love this widgit - I have friends and family around the world (imagine that when you are in the military) and it helps me know what time it is where so I don't try to call and wake someone up - I hope it is getting fixed and SOON - I rely on it and need it back on my desktop.
