Correction:
It is NOT always the same disk that doesn't show, it is the LAST mounted drive that won't appear in FDS's display. THis means that when I unplug all my external drives, the internal drive won't show. I plug one in, then the internal drive appears, I turn on the next drive, then the first external drive appears, etc.
Puzzled ...

Five stars, I *love* this widget.
But ... what reason could there be that when I mount all my external HDs, 3 FireWire drives in a chain, Free Disk Space always does NOT show one of these, IIRC always the same. It's there in the finder and in Disk Utility, and df also sees it.
But most important for me is to see how much is free on my boot drive, and as long as FDS shows me this, all is fine with me ;-)
Cheers, and THANK YOU,
Tom
p.s.: and sorry for not sending in those screenshots of when FDS shoved together all the characters
