A simple Widget to find the best gas prices in your area. Go to Gasbuddy.com and search for gas stations in your area, then cut/paste the HTTP link into the preferences of this Widget.
C-Wizzle- I'll work on the multi color idea, thanks.
Rich- the source code is available to anyone. you need to decompress the widget to edit it. do a search here for the "widget converter" i think its called. It will decompress the widget into a folder on your desktop. Good luck!

Great widget. Is there a way to make the source code available so that we can make some modifications to it? I can see a bunch of things to add to it to make it really awesome. Most of the changes are cosmetic, some are substantial (like clicking to bring up the Google or Yahoo map that shows the actual location. If are want to share it on a private basis I can understand.

Much like JMM's comment, I would like the widget to work with saved searches. When I manually select a list of locations from illinoisgasprices.com, then copy the URL to the widget, it works fine. However, when I turn the same list into a saved search and enter the new URL (in the form of http://www.illinoisgasprices.com/index.aspx?mss=#####), the widget only displays the default state-wide listings. And yes, the orange background is a bit too striking. However, griping aside, this is a great widget, and I appreciate the work put into building it!
