GasWatch

GasWatch shows you the lowest priced gas in your zip code. It also provides a handy button to show a map to the gas station. Maps for Mac users provided by Google Maps.

Please note that GasWatch uses data provided by http://autos.msn.com/. This data is only available in the USA and does not cover every area.

This has never worked for me. I have tried everything. What is wrong? It starts up and asks for my zip code, but it never shows any true data and it remains frozen on my desktop and is not able to be moved. What can I do???

Like the widget, hate the data. As others have said needs to link to gasbuddy.com local sites. I guess they would need to add an RSS feed or something to make it work but I would like to set options like radius from Zip Code, how long ago prices were updated etc.

What I really hate is that my car needs premium. At least I get 24mpg.

This Widget will not run if you install TivoS2 and update the curl files included in the default Konfabulator set up. I attempted using the TivoS2 widget and after setting everything up this widget stopped working. I had to remove and reinstall K to get it to work again.

I would also suggest, to have some reporting system which when a Gas Station with prices un updated or untruth, to just block them out!
