Generic Countdown Timer
A simple countdown timer. You can set the time in hours, minutes, seconds and an alarm will ring once the counter reaches zero. You can customize the font, the skin and you can choose how you want the time to be displayed.
One important feature of this Widget is that you can choose to initialize the counter with a default time when the Widget starts, which is convenient when you always need a countdown for the same amount of time (like in my case, I only need it to know when my coffee is about to be done).

November 16, 2007 · version 2.0.1I'm a grad student. I needed a way to time my study time so I took adequate breaks. Without a timer, I was spending too much time looking at the clock. With the timer, I can focus completely on studying. My watch was inadequate because it's cumbersome to set and use. My PDA/Phone only allowed for standard alarms as did my computer. A separate countdown timer would simply get lost. I needed one on my computer which is always with me and always turned on, even in the library when I study.

November 16, 2007 · version 2.0.1 neurotoxicOh, one small request... could you allow an option to keep the alarm ringing until it is stopped by the user? If you pop out of the room briefly it's quite easy to miss the alarm ring!!
