Generic Countdown Timer
A simple countdown timer. You can set the time in hours, minutes, seconds and an alarm will ring once the counter reaches zero. You can customize the font, the skin and you can choose how you want the time to be displayed.
One important feature of this Widget is that you can choose to initialize the counter with a default time when the Widget starts, which is convenient when you always need a countdown for the same amount of time (like in my case, I only need it to know when my coffee is about to be done).

Works fine for usual daily stuff to be reminded. But, I need a timer such I can set for days ahead (probably months, because I like to plan ahead in time), a timer which counts down days, hours, minutes, etc, and for the best chimes a tune (having the option of choosing one of your own MP3 files) once a day (daily) reminding how many days now remaining. If, this timer is in fact out there or when it's available, please do say so on this page so that I can download it. Thanks.

KimThis timer works fantastic, and I love that you can set a default(mine is 15 minutes). The only thing that would make this better is if the time could just be entered right on the face of the timer, and if you could set up multiple defaults. Other than that, this is absolutely perfect!

Simple, effective
SBSIf you need to countdown from a certain set time interval (1 hour, 15 minutes, etc), this is the one to get.
