Generic Countdown Timer
A simple countdown timer. You can set the time in hours, minutes, seconds and an alarm will ring once the counter reaches zero. You can customize the font, the skin and you can choose how you want the time to be displayed.
One important feature of this Widget is that you can choose to initialize the counter with a default time when the Widget starts, which is convenient when you always need a countdown for the same amount of time (like in my case, I only need it to know when my coffee is about to be done).

November 16, 2007 · version 2.0.1 Crystal AThis an awesome little widget...in my opinion, the best in it's class. I would recommend one MINOR adjustment. Can a check box be added to the Font or Skin preferences to either allow the time to blink or to stay on constantly once the countdown feature has been completed? Thanks for creating a great, nearly perfect and useful widget.

One that I can enter a specific date and will get a "days remaining" countdown.

November 16, 2007 · version 2.0.1 GuardianAngelzHey - great, useful widget. What would make it even move useful for me is a 'pause countdown' feature. Also, it would be really nice if one could single-click on the widget and start-pause-reset the countdown.

November 16, 2007 · version 2.0.1 PeejExcellent widget. Tasteful *&* resizeable *&* user-friendly. 1 req: Wd like a visual alarm option (pop up? screen flash? ??) for when I hv 2 mute computer. Something that might work whether timer is topmost, regular window level or heads-up. Wd also benefit others who rely on sight more than hearing (e.g. Deaf & hard-of-hearing). Slainte!
