Love the new version. Just what I needed, much better.

I hear you guys. I just updated the widget to version 1.1, using HostIP.info as the look-up database. It's a bit less info, but it seems to be more accurate. The results now show-up in a slide-out tray, rather than launching a browser window. Should be up and ready to download as soon as the Konfabulator Quality Control elves give it their approval. Enjoy!

You should use hostip.info - they're actively updating it at least...

Umm... Tried it, and it puts me in Marina Del Rey, CA. I live near Philly... in PA.

It's a good idea, but a more recent resource might work better.

This widget while a fine idea is based on NetGeo and this quote is from the NetGeo web site.... "NOTE: NetGeo has not been actively maintained for several years, and this will probably not change in the foreseeable future. As a result, there are several known major issues affecting accuracy and service availability. Please be warned that NetGeo may give wildly incorrect results, especially for recently allocated or re-assigned IP addresses."
