I think this is a great widget and has a good look to boot. However I have one minor quibble: I really wish it would display a '0' when there are no e-mail messages. The blank counter instills this sense that it's not working even though it really is.

It is a cool widget.



But I also found problems as others; unable to open with my Maxthon on. First I thought there should be a way to change the opening browser but couldn't find it. Though it is disappointing but I found a temperary solution.

It seems fine to open with use of IE6 but not Firefox, Maxthon and IE7. Although you have IE6, make sure to close Firefox or Maxthon first. That's what I did.... I wish he will change the widget or else will require to downgrade IE7 to IE6... w…hich is very hard....

or else, use browser addons like 'G-mail lite' instead
Maxthon and MSNShell have it but don't really know if firefox does. More

Please update. My Geiger no longer opens a Gmail window when I click it. I use firefox, but I upgraded to IE7 from IE6 as a backup. Ever since, nothing happens when I click the widget. Please help!

I am having the same problem as Thomas. I am using Firefox 2.0 and just upgraded to IE7 if that has anything to do with it. I love the widget, but just recently when I click on it, gmail does not launch in the browser! I love the widget, please help!
