Google Calculator

An interface to the Google Calculator, which accepts both mathematical ("sin(0.5pi)") and natural-language ("half a cup in teaspoons") queries. Even crazy things like "the speed of light in cubits per fortnight" work.

The Widget features a history of previous calculations, a basic syntax checker, and a nifty animation for invalid queries.

Just popped this on my desk top and tried it out it is brilliant :-)

Running into a font issue. Where it used to say "Google" (shown above as "5.56333333 feet"), I now have characters that look like a mix of Hebrew and Greek characters and of math symbols, as if font changed to some Wingdings, Webding or Dingbats font. Closed out and re-opened. Deleted version 1.1 and replaced with downloaded new version 1.1.1 and STILL have unintellegible mix of characters. Running calculations does NOT purge. Help!

A Smoot is a measure that was used by a team of MIT scientists to calculate the length of a bridge using the height of a person, last name Smoot. Thusly, they went down in history, and a Smoot became a true measure.

Unless my memory is incorrect.
